"They did a great job in relocating the existing plumbing, electrical service, lighting, partition placement, and tile setting (shower walls and floor). I developed the drawing and notes that served as the basic specifications. John Bonner and crew followed those directions perfectly. If there's an award for outstanding customer service, it should go, without hesitation, annually to John and Debbie Bonner. They are great people to work with, as is their spirited and extremely knowledgable crew. Two thumbs up for Bonner Home Improvement!!!"- Frank B. - Noblesville, IN

I had never met John Bonner before, but I can't say enough good about him as a remodeler. I got estimates from seven remodelers that were all listed as Angie's Award Winners. John's estimate was the cheapest of the seven, AND it turned out that he was very knowledgeable, very concerned with quality and safety, in addition to saving me money wherever possible. I ended up paying less than half of some of the other estimates---only one other estimate was close. I kept adding on more and more ideas and more work in the middle of the job, and these additions (major additions) were accommodated without question and at very reasonable cost. John can be trusted as a man of his word; his handshake means a lot. He was directly involved with much of the work, and gave careful oversight to a good crew that was working for him. They said John had a "bionic eye" that would see when something was not perfect and make sure it was done right. Several times he would check things over and have something redone or improved in ways that I had not even noticed. He was VERY responsive whenever I phoned him with a question or a suggestion and would show up and take care of anything that needed to be done. And this happened even after the job was over and he had been paid. I was able to trust John with a key to my house during the weeks the job was being done. Also, everyday, he or his crew cleaned up and straightened up before they left. They were responsible for all refuse and waste containment and removal as well. Whenever people see all that he did in my house, they take down his name! As far as I'm concerned, he should keep getting awards.

When I contacted Bonner Home Improvement, I immediately knew that they could do the work. 1) they were professional 2) Call you back or responsed via email the same day. (3) They made sure they met all inspections and county regulations. When I met with John we went over all the details of job, timeline, and cost. The 1st phase (Interior work) was done as promise (before Thanksgiving) and we was able to have our Thanksgiving dinner in our new home. Then BHI move to Phase 2 (Exterior job) which included the deck and fence. I was really impressed with them working in cold weather and not getting behind. They completed the work before Christmas. We can't wait till summer to sit out on our deck and enjoy our back yard. Thank you BHI for making this stress-free experience!

We need to preface our review by stating that we are perfectionists that expect nothing but the highest quality of work. We would definitely use BHI in the future! The demo of the existing kitchen went very quickly. The rerouting of the electrical and plumbing took some time as it was more involved than expected. The new window and drywall installation was completed rapidly. Then, the walls were primered and painted. There were some areas of the painting that seemed rushed and had to be redone. We expected two coats of paint; however, only one was applied with some touch-ups. Once the cabinets were installed, it took approximately 1.5 weeks for our granite countertops to be installed by the granite supplier. After the granite was completed, it took BHI about 1.5 weeks to finish installing new wood trim, plumbing the sink, garbage disposal, and faucet and installing backsplash as well as completing finishing touches. Throughout the project there were some areas that we requested be redone to our liking. BHI was very fair good about completing our requests. The entire project took 6 weeks and we were quoted 2-3 weeks. We never mentioned the time frame as we only wanted quality work. Overall, we were pleased with BHI and would use them again.
